L'Oreal Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser- £14.99 (currently only £9.99 in Boots)

The L'Oreal Skin Perfection Day Moisturiser has been on my list of products to try for what seems like forever- am I the only person with this list? But when I was in Boots a few weeks ago I decided to pick this up. I was on the lookout for a new moisturiser and I thought this was the perfect time to give it a try.

This moisturiser is aimed for people in their 20s to 30s and claims to helps transform the appearance of skin quality, make pores look virtually undetectable, even out skin tone, make skin feel silky soft and lock in moisture for up to 24 hours of hydration. This seems like a lot to claim, but this is literally a miracle cream in a pot. Although I'm only 18 and this is aimed for an older age range, it suited my skin needs.

I have been using this in the mornings and evenings to really test it and I'm loving the results so far. I have large pores, nothing too extreme but certainly noticeable to me. This moisturiser has minimised my pores, helped with pesky blackheads and calmed my breakouts whilst not being too overly moisturising for my oily skin. I do find I don't get as oily throughout the day which is a big bonus. I'm luckily not suffering dry skin at the moment as the weathers warmer so I can't judge it on dry skin.

The pot is really nice, pink is my favourite colour so I'm loving it. You only need a small amount of product, about the size of 2 peas (sorry for the awful comparison!) so I can see it lasting a while. It's a thick consistency but sinks in fast leaving a shine free look to the skin.

I love the results so much that today I actually went into the busy town centre without make up on! Ok, that may sound extreme but for me it's an achievement because I've always been one of those 'I won't leave the house without make up on' kind of girls, but I actually felt comfortable in my own skin. I am so happy with this product, my skin has improved so much. Thank you L'Oreal!
