My beauty wish list is something that seems to expand on the daily. Every time I watch a YouTube video or read a blog post something catches my eye and now we’re here with a wishlist longer than both my arms and legs combined. With my 22nd birthday also coming up (eeeeep!) I thought I’d put together a few of the products sat right at the very top of my list which I’m sure will eventually come into my life – you gotta treat yo’ self!
Skincare is something I adore dearly so a good chunk of the products mentioned had to be skincare! Starting off with the SK-II Treatment Facial Masks, incredibly expensive, incredibly luxury but every time I hear someone say something great about these masks my love for them grows even fonder. Back to a more ‘within my budget’ option is The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, although it turns your face blood red I’ve heard it’s a real miracle worker and I do love me a good acid exfoliator.
Serums and oils (or miracle workers as I like to call them) are one of my favourite skincare items because I feel like they make the most difference to my skin. The Kypris Antioxidant Dew is one I’ve been oh so close to ordering because it sounds so like me, but can I really drop £69 on it in the middle of January? Hell nope. Another totally out of my price range choice is the Sunday Riley Juno Face Oil. It’s pink, it looks so damn luxury and it’s a face oil so obviously I need it… one day I will cave.
Truthfully it was the colour of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Mask that caught my eye in the first place, but since then I’ve read really good things about it and let’s be real it would look incredible on my skincare shelves and in blog photos – oh millennial pink, I do love you. Eye creams aren’t often something that excite me, but the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Creme sucks me in more and more every time I see Katie Jane Hughes (aka my absolute FAVE) use it in her Insta videos – basically anything she loves I will end up wanting to buy.
First up for makeup is the Smashbox Primerizer, I’ve actually got a Boots voucher left from Christmas and I’m very tempted to use it on this! I’ve loved the Smashbox primers I’ve tried before and I really like everything I’ve heard about this one too. Up until about seven minutes ago the It Cosmetics CC Cream sat at the number one spot on my wishlist until I caved and finally ordered it! Whilst it’s not exactly on my wishlist anymore, it’s a lot of effort to go back and edit the picture so let’s just pretend it still is *wink*.
Back when Fenty Beauty first hit the beauty scene I didn’t jump straight on the bandwagon because I wanted to hold back and see peoples opinions before I dropped serious £££ on it. Now I’ve seen about 65 million good reviews on the brand, the Bomb Baby Mini Set and the Stunna Lip Paint have both become something I now need in my life. I feel like it’s been a while since something from MAC has caught my eye, but the 197SH Brush has. Duo Fibre brushes are my absolute favourite, the MAC 130 is one I already own and is one of my favourites.
The moment I saw previews of the Violet Voss Hashtag Palette I think I almost died (maybe a tad bit extreme?) but it’s beautiful, just look at those colours… NEED! Last but not least we have the Glossier Boy Brow and Cloud Paints, both of which are next on my Glossier list. The Cloud Paints look incredible and I just adore the paint style tube they come it, it screams “I’m perfect for a flatlay” to me, I also love how subtle and natural they look on the skin.
