Somehow we're already 5 days into December, Christmas is coming round faster than I'm ready for and it's reminding me I still have Christmas presents to buy! I'm one of those people that leave everything to the last minute so I expect I won't start wrapping till the 24th, maybe one day I'll eventually become a more organised person. As for todays post, I'm talking about my current favourites and I can't believe I haven't shared one since September!
During that time my life has become incredibly busy/stressful, especially over the past couple of weeks meaning that somehow favourites posts never even entered my mind, in fact any type of blog post hardly entered my mind which was shown by the fact I only posted twice in November! I promise that December will be different though, I'm feeling super festive and I've got all my posts planned and scheduled for the month, it feels good to get back into a routine. Lets get on with the favourites...
MAC Studio Finish Concealer - Stress means one thing for me, breakouts. My skin officially hates me so I've been left to rely on concealer, and it's gotta be pretty heavy duty. I've been repurchasing Studio Finish for years now, cream concealers are my favourites because they back some serious coverage and this one doesn't disappoint. The thing I really like about this is that its not a thick hard to blend formula, it warms on the skin and applies really well whilst still looking natural.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - My inner immature 12 year old comes out every time I say the name of this mascara, I promise one day I'll eventually grow up. When I first got this little sample I didn't think much of it and it somehow ended up sitting unloved until a few weeks ago when I decided to give it a try again. I can't believe how much my opinion has changed, it adds the perfect amount of length and volume without looking clumpy on my tiny little lashes. I'm converted to Better Than Sex and I'm going to have to pick up the full size.
Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil - This past month my alopecia has been the worst its ever been, I've lost most of my eyebrows now (it's a real sexy look!) so I've had to really switch up my brow routine. I decided to pick up this pencil from Benefit as I loved how sharp and precise the actual pencil looks, and it's really impressed me. It's great for drawing on really small individual hairs which is something you need when you're lacking in actual hairs! It's really easy to apply and I think this has actually replaced my love for the ABH Brow Wiz!
Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette - Nothing says luxury like a bit a Charlotte Tilbury! The Dolce Vita Palette contains the perfect Autumn/Winter shades and I've been wearing it loads lately. I love all four of the shades in this palette and they pair perfectly together for the perfect warm eye. Charlotte Tilbury Palettes are a real luxury splurge but they're so damn worth it.
