A Small Boots Haul

First up, apologies for the quality of these pictures! I've just taken them, and its almost 8pm here in the UK so the natural light is fading fast and i didn't want to set up my studio lighting (it's been a long day and I'm a lazy blogger, oops!)

Today I nipped into Boots, and as usual I ended up having a browse and picking some bits up, I swear I never leave the store without buying something! Some bits are a repurchase and some are new products to try.

This is a product I've never heard anything about before. I'm usually one to read reviews before purchasing a product, but I saw this next to the pore strips I was getting so I decided to give it a try. It was on also on offer so into my basket it went.

I really like the Barry M Quick Dry Polishes (previous review) so when I saw this really pretty shimmery baby pink, I knew I needed to own it. I love anything pink- my blog design shows that- so I can't wait to wear this colour.

I've been repurchasing this top coat for years, its my favourite and really does dry the nails fast. I recently ran out of my last bottle and had a few other top coats in my collection to try, but nothing will compare to this. A nail must have for me.
I've been wanting to try this for a while. Although its actually a foundation, i've seen a few makeup artists use it as a concealer on problem areas. Being a 30ml bottle its going to last a lot longer than a regular sized concealer. I swatched the colour when I got home, and this stuff has some heavy duty coverage and managed to pretty much cover my tattoo. It didn't feel too thick or heavy, but I'll give it a full test and be sure to let you guys know how I get on with it.

This was another random purchase. I'd not heard anything about it before, but I needed a new eye cream so I thought I'd give this a try. It has fairly good reviews on the Boots website so I'm looking forward to give it a try.

These are a repurchase, I recently used up my last pack and needed some more. I really like these pore strips and find them really good at dealing with my pesky pores. I've noticed they've also repackaged them which confused me as I was walking around looking for the old ones.

Hope you enjoyed this mini haul.
Thanks for reading!

  1. The Charcoal Pore Minimiser looks so interesting. I'd love to see a review of it once you've started to use it? x
