I can’t believe November is almost over, this month has gone so fast and Christmas is approaching yet I still haven’t brought any Christmas presents yet, great one Samm! It was actually really hard to pick my favourites as I’ve been loving so many products, bit I’ve managed to cut it down.
My first favourite is NARS Laguna, which I’ve used everyday religiously since buying it. I’m sure you’ve all heard about this a million times but it really is the bronzer of dreams and deserves the hype. Laguna, you’ve won my heart.
MAC Angel lipstick was a recent buy of mine, but in the few weeks I’ve had it I’ve fallen in love. I wear it everyday as a nude lip as I find it can suit any make up look. If you’re looking for a nude colour, this is one to try!
Priming is key with any skin type, especially for the more oily skinned guys & girls like me. My all time favourite holy grail status primer is the Smashbox Photo Finish Light. It is a pricey “treat yo self” kinda purchase at £25, but it lasts ages and really helps with oil control, my foundation applies really well on top of it and it helps keep my makeup looking great all day.
The MAC Select Cover Up Concealer is another recent purchase of mine. I picked it up from Debenhams as I’d wanted it for a while now. We got to use it when learning make up at college and I fell in love, so in love that it persuaded me I need it in my life so I finally caved and ordered it and I’m so glad. This hides my dark circles and any annoying blemishes I have without looking thick on the skin. It’s also great as an eyeshadow base or to carve the brows, you could even mix a little into moisturiser or primer to create an all over base. It really is a handy ‘does a bit of everything’ products, a kit staple for me now!
I find priming your eyes equally, if not more, important as priming your face. I’ve tried my fair share of eyeshadow primers, but I’ve been absolutely loving the MAC Paint Pots recently. I have a few, but this month I’ve found myself reaching for Bare Study the most. I apply it under my eye shadow to give it that base to adhere too, and it makes it last all day. It’s ideal for when I’m busy at college when I need long lasting hassle free products.
So that been my favourites this month, what products have you been loving?
