NARS Albatross Review

I find highlighting an important part of everyday makeup, it’s the finishing touch to the makeup routine that adds shimmer and lifts the complexion helping to give you a flawless look.

I’ve been on the hunt for a new powder highlighter for a while. I went around swatching and trying various different brands but just didn’t find the perfect one. When I was browsing online I decided to give NARS Albatross a go so I took the plunge and ordered it from ASOS.

Whilst waiting for the delivery I was left wondering, will it be worth the £21.50 price tag? The answer is YES!

I’ve used it a few times and I am already in love. I apply this with one of my Coastal Scent brushes until I find a better brush to use. I apply it on my cheek bones, a tiny bit on my forehead and lightly down my nose. This may sound a lot but together with the rest of my make up really helps to shape my face.

I have pink toned skin so I was worried about it not suiting my skin as it is slightly yellow toned but it works well on my skin. Just use it carefully, a little bit goes a long way.

Albatross comes in the normal NARS packaging which does gets messy very easily, but I don’t mind that as it looks so smart and professional.

I own NARS Laguna bronzer and I did expect this to be the same size, so I was surprised when this came through the door. It is very small, which did worry me that I will hit pan on it easily, but like I mentioned a little does go a long way so I can see it lasting a while.

I’m really happy with this purchase, Nars is soon becoming one of my favourite brands, up next on the wishlist is some NARS blushes. What are your favourite Nars product? Or what products are you lusting after?
