MAC RiRi Woo Lipstick review

I love MAC and I love Rihanna, so when I heard they where collaborating to release a collection throughout the year I was over the moon. I got the email from MAC about this lipstick being launched and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one, making me a very happy girl.

It arrived this morning and I was super happy. It’s my first red lipstick, I’ve always had pink/blue/purple hair and couldn’t pull red off. But now I’m blonde I can get away with it.

The colour is a very strong, that classic red lipstick every girl needs. For me I actually found it made my teeth look whiter which was a bonus for me! It glides on very well, no pulling and didn’t stick to dry patches. It’s a Retro Matte finish which I like. As for lasting power, this is what amazed me. I found it more like a stain and lasted hours on me, it’s been around 7 hours and my lips still have a slight red tinge to them.

Unfortunately if you’re hoping to get this lipstick now it did sell out in a few hours, however it will be back again in June. I can’t wait for the rest of the line to come out over the year, it looks fab!

It cost me £14 plus delivery from the MAC website.

    • It's lovely, really recommend it xx

  • This looks great, I went to purchase it online and the page wouldn't load, boo, xoxo.

    • That's a shame, hopefully your get it when it's back in June xx

  • I loved pairing blue hair with blue toned reds, I paired Mac's lady bug with bright pink hair. If your hairs bright, no ones looking at your lipstick!

    • Very true! Now I feel comfortable pairing the two xx
