Back in December I raved about the Revlon ColorStay foundation (here) as for the first month of so I found it really worked, then it started to go cakey and wouldn't last that long before I needed to touch up. I just began to really dislike it. So I did some research online and read loads of different reviews and I finally settled on the MAC Pro Longwear Foundation.
I ordered the shade NW20 which is what I normally am in MAC and it's a tiny bit dark for me but that's only because I've been slacking with the fake tan.
Where do I begin? I absolutely love this foundation to pieces, it's by far the best foundation I have ever tried. It's so easy to apply, I was expecting it to be really thick and hard to blend but it's really not. I use my Sigma F80 brush to blend this and it leaves no streaks, unlike the Revlon ColorStay which I had to use a sponge to blend in.
Coverage: The coverage is amazing, if I'm in a rush I can go without concealer and still have my dark circles and blemishes hidden. I would say this is high coverage, even though MAC say it's sheer to medium coverage.
Lasting power: This is also amazing for lasting power, I go from 7am to around 10pm and it still looks like I've just applied it. I really am amazed by this foundation, I honestly didn't think there was one out there as good as this. I use a Smashbox powder after applying this foundation and I find the two work really well together. The powder evens out the colour and helps it last all day.
So if you're looking for a new foundation, I would really reccomend this for oily skinned people, as for dry skin you would need to moisturise as it can stick to dry skin. Other than that there is no other cons to this foundation, I am really happy I chose this.
