Revlon ColorStay Foundation For Combination/Oily Skin

Hello lovelies, hope your all ok. Today’s post is a review for you all. I will be reviewing the Revlon Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin. I picked this up in Boots with 3 for 2 so I also picked up a couple other new products (reviews to come).

The biggest make up trouble I have is finding the perfect foundation. I have tried loads from  Mac, Benefit and Chanel to No 7 and Collection 2000. I still haven’t found one that ticks all the boxes. I have combination skin with an oily T zone and dry skin everywhere else. I was looking online and read a lot of people liked the Revlon ColorStay for oily skin so I decided to go with that. I haven’t regretted this choice-yet anyway haha.

Revlon Colorstay retails for around £12.49

Availible from Boots here or Superdrug here

My shade is 180- Sand Beige which matches me well and it’s not the lightest shade like I normally have so that’s another bonus.

I really like this foundation. It gives a full coverage, I don’t even bother with concealer most the times which is such a good thing for me especially getting ready early in the morning it saves so much time. As for the lasting power, it lasts all day without needing to reapply which is great as I’ve never had that in a foundation before. But I do think the 24 hour lasting is a bit over the top, I would say about 12 hours which is still plenty  for me.

Another big bonus is that it really works for my oily skin. Instead of reapplying powder every hour, literally it is that often most times! I now only have to once or twice throughout the whole day, I love this so I save money on powder.

The only con I have with this is that it has no pump, it’s so annoying Revlon really need to do something about this as it’s a pain, I’m tempted to put it into my empty Mac bottle which has a pump on. In fact I might go and do that after I’ve written this post.

After using this foundation for about a week I can say I’m loving it so far and will continue to buy it if it carries on working this well for me.

Thanks for reading
